I’ve always been drawn to the power of storytelling—how a single moment, captured at just the right time, can echo with meaning far beyond the frame. Born in Ghana and raised primarily in the United States, I eventually forged a career in New York’s editorial and fashion sphere, honing my eye for composition, lighting, and mood. But I found myself craving something less orchestrated and more emotionally immediate. That’s where weddings and private celebrations entered the picture.

 

Nai Projects was born out of my desire to merge editorial sophistication with real, unguarded human moments. I believe each celebration is a living narrative: it has its own arc, hidden nuances, and a heartbeat all its own. By approaching events with meticulous preparation—like scouting locations and understanding your vision in detail—I can be fully present once the day begins, letting genuine interactions unfold naturally.

 

My role is part creative director, part empathetic observer. I’ll gently guide if it helps you find the most beautiful light or setting, but I never want to overshadow what makes your celebration truly yours.
